Accommodation Request Process
To request an accommodation:
- Complete the Accommodations Application through the NHCO Portal:
https://portal.nhcocert.com/
- Submit all required supporting medical documentation.
- Allow the request to be reviewed in accordance with NHCO’s accommodations policy.
All accommodation requests must include supporting documentation from a qualified healthcare provider.
Documentation must include:
- A medical diagnosis.
- Information demonstrating the need for the requested accommodation.
- Relevant details supporting the accommodation request.
- NHCO cannot recommend, encourage, or advise candidates to request a specific accommodation.
- Each accommodation request is evaluated individually based on the applicant’s documented medical needs.
- Accommodation decisions are based on the documentation submitted and NHCO’s accommodations policy.
- Requests must be submitted and approved before accommodations can be applied to an exam.
