CE Hours From an Employer
Employer-provided training may qualify toward Continuing Education (CE) requirements; however, acceptance depends on whether the training meets NHCO renewal requirements. The number of hours and type of employer-provided training accepted may vary and will be reviewed by the NHCO auditing team
Employer CE Documentation Requirements
All submitted CE documentation must include the following information:
- Course type or title.
- Number of course hours completed.
- Certificate holder’s name.
- Date of completion.
To be considered for renewal credit:
- Courses must have been completed within the last 6 months.
- Courses must be phlebotomy-related.
- Documentation must clearly verify completion of the training.
- Submitted CE hours must meet NHCO renewal requirements.
- Employer-provided training is reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the auditing team.
- Submission of employer training does not guarantee approval for CE credit.
- Renewal applications cannot be approved without acceptable CE documentation.
- Candidates are responsible for providing complete documentation for all submitted CE hours.
